Les recuerdo que el próximo lunes 23  comienza la semana de evaluación y por este motivo no se mandarán deberes a casa.

Y5  ya tiene nuevo libro de lectura pero no es necesario realizar el resumen del mismo.
El libro de lectura se cambiará en dos semanas.

Homework - Week beginning 9th November

This week´s homework:

Maths - complete the Maths fractions games on Education City.

History - Family Tree Project

You need to make a family tree for your family.  Add:  names, dates of birth, photos (if you have them).  How far back can you trace your family tree?  Can you trace it back to Victorian times?  You may present your information on A4 or A3 card or paper.  Have a look on the internet for ideas about how to present it. Your teacher will also talk to you in class about it.  

Your family tree needs to be brought in on: Thursday 26th November.

Información sobre la semana de evaluación Semana 13 23-11-15 y deberes semana 11

Mañana entregaré la ficha de estudio con el contenido que será evaluado en la semana 13 (comienza el lunes 23).
También entregaré los días de examen y qué se evaluará en ellos.

Aquí les dejo las fechas:

Viernes 20: Ejercicio de comprensión lectora.
Lunes 23: Ejercicio de ortografía (dictado).
Martes 24: Ejercicio de gramática.
Miércoles 25: Ejercicio de expresión escrita.

Aprovecho también para informar que los deberes se entregarán el viernes 13 y se recogerán el 19 y que el resumen es para el miércoles 18.

Friendship Week and International Day

Hello everyone,

Next week, from Monday 16 November we will be celebrating Friendship Week. We will be working together and with our buddy classes in Year 3 to promote friendship and how to be a good friend.

On Tuesday 17 November, we will have a ´Friends Around the World´ International Day. Year 5 will be studying Japan. Please come to school dressed in the Japanese flag colours, white and red.

Homework Changes

Hello Year 5,

We are changing the day that homework in due in and given out.  ALL homework will now be given out on Thursdays and will be due in the following Thursday.  This gives you one week to complete it.  We hope this will make homework easier for you to complete and bring in!

We will start this next week - Thursday 12th November.

Greek Feast

Don´t forget that we are having our Greek Feast on Wednesday 7th October.  Bring something that the Ancient Greeks might have eaten.  Remember to bring your Greek costume!
