Happy Holidays!

Hello Year 5,

Well, we made it - the end of another school year!  We hope that you have enjoyed being in Year 5 and learnt lots.

During the summer holidays, keep practicing your English.  You can: read a good book; write a diary; review a book or film; watch films in English and...keep talking!  It´s really important that you do all of this as you are not at school again until September.

Hello Year 5,

Here is this week´s homework:

English - read the non-chronological report and draw a picture of the Sneaglegator.  Add labels.

Science - sort the statements into true and false

Maths - Education City - Dancing Robot – using number facts
                        Dancing Robot – recall number facts

Ask an adult to sign your diary or print a certificate to show your teacher.  Please do not wait until next Thursday to tell us you  can´t access the website!

This week´s homework is all on Education City.  Please get an adult to sign your diary after you have played the games, or you can print out a certificate to show your teacher.

Maths Day 27th April

Hello Year 5,

On Wednesday 27th April we are having a maths day.  We will spend the day playing maths games, solving maths problems and creating art, using maths.

Please could you bring a protractor.  You will need to have one this week as we are looking at angles and we will also use it on Wednesday.
